2020 Rush Lattin Syrah - glass

The first note on the nose is wild blackberry compote, but underlying that are complex aromas of roasted meats, lavender, tar and vanilla.  Dried blackberry and baked Italian plum fill your mouth with a solid wave of flavor from the front to the back and are surprisingly vibrant and fresh given the ripeness of the flavors. There is a density to this Syrah that will soften and open to reveal even more complexity over the next 5 to 10 years.
